Yes, it's because of your faithful prayers
that we are VERY close to meeting Wycliffe's required ministry budget. Our shortfall
is just $125 a month. As soon as that remaining monthly amount is promised, we
can begin our dual assignment, starting in Tucson. Thanks so much for
praying!
Can you
feel the excitement rising? We can! A year ago when we received the Wycliffe required
budget for our new assignment, we were overwhelmed. The additional $2000* a
month seemed like such a huge mountain to tackle and we had a hard time
envisioning God providing it. But all along we were confident that if this was
His plan, He would do it.
We are nearing the top of the mountain!
We all
had our part to do. YOU prayed and advocated for us. WE did tons of emailing,
calling, writing, visiting, inviting, communicating the need for language
development, Bible translation, literacy and about our ministry with Wycliffe.
But in the end, it was GOD in His way and timing that brought our new and
improved team together. Thank you! Praise God!
Hindsight
is often 20/20. Looking back now we can see that if we had received full
funding any earlier we would have been in Chad when my father went through his
failing health. That would have been a mess for us to try and deal with from
Africa. God is good and His timing is perfect!
Thanks
again for your continued prayers for the final funding to be completed "in God's timing".

the way, this was not a $2000 a month raise, (wouldn't that be nice), rather
the shortfall was due to the amount which Wycliffe calculated was required for
our ministry budget in order to do our new dual assignment; 6 months at the
Mexico Branch center in the USA and 6 months in Chad each year, plus the
need to replace funding lost due to partner deaths, life changes, and the
economy.
