We did a Sunday morning presentation of our work for Wycliffe yesterday the 22 of Feb. Afterwards someone texted me the following great questions.

1. Are you planning to depart soon?

2. How long will you be away?

3. What are your needs?

Simple questions that deserve clear answers. We are thinking many of you may have the same questions. So I replied and said...

Thanks for your note. Yes, there is a plan to depart as soon as the funding comes in. We have completed all of our goals for this time back in the states. Well, everything except the funding goal.  Judy is wonderfully optimistic and God does do miracles.  So her projection is always next month. We pray and hope. Wycliffe's requirement is that we get 100% of our Wycliffe ministry  budget promised before we depart the states. Currently we still have a shortfall of $1200 a month. It is a good requirement because the monthly income can start to drop off rather quickly. People lose their jobs, have company cut backs, get sick, die, get divorced, etc. They don't know what is coming at them when they commit to stand with us. None of us do. God is good and His grace is enough to get us through when those things happen.

Do to our family situation here in the states and the intensity of the work there in Chad, we feel it is best that we start a six month rotation between Chad and a USA / Mexico assignment. Ideally we should be gone from the USA mid Oct and return mid March. That’s the season of highest need for our services in Chad and the highest likely hood of getting our Tucson home rented to snow birds while we are gone. When state side we will be working at the Mexico branch office in Tucson. I'll be managing the linguist centers maintenance needs and Judy will be in office administration.

As far as prayer needs;

That our Wycliffe ministry budget and desired prayer support be promised ASAP

That our home will be rented while we are away
