And it was good...
It was a hot Monday, another 115 F day. One of our new Chadian friends, Halime, made an impromptu lunch for us. I didn't even know it was happening until I got home for lunch, about 2:30. (that's becoming normal). She started out making it in Marianne's apartment just up-stairs from us, but the cooking gas bottle ran out. So Judy offered for her to finish cooking it at our home. It was a wonderful fried fish meal. Eight large carp caught in Lake Tchad and pan fried in peanut oil, a salad and a very large plate of fresh mango. When Marianne, on right, arrived just after 3:00, we ate and it was good!
