In case you missed it, I had to have another right knee surgery. It was minor arthroscopic surgery where the Doc went in with three small 3/8" tubes, a camera, and tools to remove a floating foreign body that was causing me a lot of intermittent pain. It showed up on the x-rays as a white dot where there should not be one. The Doc suspected it was a small grain of cement that broke off from gluing the replacement knee joint onto the bone over a year ago. He says normally these types of floating bodies will find a corner and scarify in, stabilize and not be a problem. But, because it's been a problem for the past several months and our departure to Africa is coming up fast, we decided to go ahead and try and get it out. He warmed me, its not always successful. The small grains can not always be found. He was not able to find it. Oh well, we tried. Hopefully it has or will soon, find its permanent resting place and not be any further problem. Thanks for praying.
