Once upon a sunny day,
three Amigos bypassed the hay,
instead they boldly road upon,
dirt and rock without the lawn.
Steep and winding was the way,
... yet onward and upward went the day.
Until at last mid-afternoon,
they came upon the road of doom.
Even now they did not slow,
for they were the three Amigo.
The leader, Jordan was his name,
never slacked the pace one dern dang.
Wade and Jim who followed on,
who in their minds thought, “What’s going on”.
The pace was hard, the pace was fast,
then all of a sudden we were on our –ss.
The white of snow the brown of mud,
the hard of rock, the bikes went thud.
Wade’s Beemer tires in the air,
Wade flopping under it but with some care.
Jordan and Jim unfolding onto action
Looking at the situations compaction.
The Beemer on top, Wade underneath,
that Wade was holleran was a relief.
He was alive, he was really quite fine,
the Beemer was actually quite sublime.
The windshield only was its demise,
Back on its tires, Wade on his feet,
the triumph was clear, this was not a defeat!
